We started it for a simple reason: most product roundups are either thinly disguised adverts or lists written by people who have plainly never used, priced or even seen the products in a British context. UK buyers deserve guides written for the UK market, with UK availability, UK price bands and UK realities like tool theft, box room offices and British weather.

Our editorial standards

Research led, honestly framed. We research widely across trade forums, independent reviews and specification sheets, and we cross check that every product is genuinely on sale in the UK. We do not claim laboratory testing we have not done, and we do not invent scores, star ratings or review counts.
